Ever since I started hearing about the WONDERS of Docker, I’ve been trying to think of a valid reason for its existence. So far, no luck.
My considered opinion as someone who is quite comfortable running & maintaining my stuff the “old-fashioned” way… (I have a couple of servers running ESXi with lots of dedicated VMs…)
Docker is dumb…
It’s just another “Hey! Install your shit without any clue what you’re doing by downloading this file.” thing…
Fucking near as bad as rPi…
Deeply surprised there aren’t 87 billion rPi botnet nodes out there yet…
